Drawback, is a Brazilian decret that frees from import dues some material imported with the intention of product export products.

In 2008 the MDIC ( Development secretary) develop the Drawback web wich made the process electronic.

Why is that important now?

With the Brazilian currency going back to reliable rates and loosing competitiveness, adding the huge infrastructure investments that Brazilians are applying in the next years, the possibility of producing in Brazil with the intention of export, aiming Latin America is coming back to reality.
